Turkana, Kenya: A man has moved to court to stop the Controller of Budget from approving the Turkana County budget on grounds that it has been altered by the governor.
Pius Atok Ewoton also wants the High Court in Nairobi to prohibit Turkana Governor Josephat Nanok and County Member in charge of Fnance Paul Nabuin from utilising any public funds with regard to the alleged altered budget estimates.
The Turkana resident has accused Nanok and Nabuin of altering the budget that was approved by the Turkana County Assembly.
