NAIROBI; KENYA: Nairobi County Senator Gideon Mbuvi Sonko has downplayed a confrontation between him and Woman Representative Rachael Shebesh.
Sonko confirmed they had “a small misunderstanding” but termed it as personal.
“That was a small issue that we solved. We did not report it at any police station because it was private and personal,” he told The Standard in his office.

He said they had been at a hotel in Upper Hill area when they differed and later argued briefly.
A senior manager at the hotel said the two booked the prestigious business suite for a meeting before a confrontation ensued leading to both of them walking out.
Police at Kilimani said Sonko arrived at the station past midnight on Thursday but did not record any statement.
