While thanking the people who made it possible for Barack Obama to get to the White house, we should not forget Jack Ryan. Ati who, you ask? This is the guy who hired a cameraman to hound and bark questions at Obama in the 2004 Illinois senate race. The tactic backfired, and showed voters Obama’s composure. Ryan, a Republican like the incumbent, then withdrew due to a scandal involving foreign sex-clubs and his ex-wife. The rest is history.

An American animal charity is offering Sh2 billion prize to the first person to come up with a safe, effective and practical non-surgical way to sterilise cats and dogs. There’s a grant twice as large for promising proposals.
Given the winning method has to be a permanent single-dose method that works equally well in male or female animals, conspiracy theorists fear a winning method could be adaptable to other animals — perhaps people. Yikes!

And finally...
A New Zealand rape victim drove her rapist to a police station when he fell asleep in his car after assaulting her. The attacker met the woman at a bar and later drove her to a park where he raped her in the back seat of his car. After the attack, he allowed her drive but fell asleep, so the woman drove him to a police station where he was arrested.
