Mombasa, Kenya: The case facing Lengo Mudzomba for caning former Prime Minister Raila Odinga and Kwale Governor Salim Mvurya failed to kick off yesterday.
The court moved the case to Thursday after it was informed that Director of Public Prosecution Keriako Tobiko had not received court files for further directions.
On Friday, Tobiko had asked for all documents before the court filed by the complainants for him to give a directive in person after both Raila and Mvurya signed affidavits to forgive Mdzomba for assault.
Mdzomba was charged last Monday.
