NAIROBI: A Kenya Defence Forces aircraft has crashed in Kismayu, Somalia.
A statement KDF’s Spokesman Col David Obonyo said the aircraft was returning from a mission in Jamaame, Southern Somalia when it developed technical problems and crashed.
The statement did not mention any casualties as a result of the crash but promised to issue more information later.
The aircraft went down at around 3.15PM (EAT) according to Col Obonyo.
