Protect your women but never fight other men

It is said that behind a successful man there is a woman. This is true and most successful men are able to reach their peak if they have peace of mind from their women partners. Sometimes, they even receive very useful tips from them.

Many women deserve praise and respect for standing with and helping their men. Women also have to be praised for helping bring up the family.  I have said before that women, especially the good ones, are to be respected without fail.

Unfortunately, the world has become tricky and women have taken advantage of the soft spot that men have for them. Some become criminals. They say the worst armed thug one can come across is a woman. They shoot and kill without hesitation.

See how they have specialised in drugging men in bars, organising their abduction and robbing them of their valuables. They are able to easily convince men to send money for fare yet they know it is all a con game. It is known that many men are weak to women and that is why they take advantage of them.

Even in espionage, the most effective spies are usually women. Generation Z might act surprised that it is happening in this generation but this has been happening from time immemorial. Even in the bible, you read stories of women who were considered evil and the top 10 wicked women were the woman of Samaria, Gomer, Lot’s wife, the Witch of Endor, Delilah, Potiphar’s wife, Herodias, Athaliah, Jezebel, Eve.

If one reads the story of Eve, then you can excuse men who put full trust in their women and later fall off the wagon. Last week, I came across a shared video of two men fighting and it was said they both died. The reason is their wives had a quarrel and decided to involve the husbands by reporting each other. A simple quarrel made the women widows and their young children orphans.

Then, there is the case of Will Smith whom I really admire and follow as an actor because he is brilliant. When he decided to slap Chris Rock, who is a family friend, during Oscars because of a joke he made about his wife, he fell into the same trap many men fall into.

Now his career is in trouble. Some of his projects have been paused and some movie studios are boycotting and cancelling his films. Most people thought he should know better, that being a public figure, people will ridicule you, and make jokes about you. The same way they did to Michael Jackson, Magic Johnson and Stevie Wonder, among others. 

I want to caution the boy child; please protect your lady but don’t be violent. Always count one to 20 when you see your woman is in problems before reacting. Always be like a professional bouncer in a club where you assume that everyone is drunk and are not thinking straight.

So, the best thing is to be a chiller where you intervene and cool things when there is a fight or argument. A wise man once told me that even if you get your wife in bed with another man, don’t overreact and kill the man. You might end up in jail and believe me by the fourth month, the woman you killed for will stop visiting you in jail and will be married off to another man. Men should know women might exaggerate things and you should not just react like a fool. Act like our older wazees by letting the woman know you will have a meeting with the culprit. That way, it will cool her down. Then approach the person when temperatures are down or report to authorities. Believe me, decisions, choices and consequences are a reality of life.

 So, boy child, protect your lady like a bodyguard. Shield them but not by thinking you’re the fastest cowboy in town and start fighting everyone she hates or who she says wronged her. Remember, some women can be very tricky and would like you to revenge for them. So, be very careful and please think before reacting.
