After a fine season in the National Super League (NSL) that culminated in promotion to the Kenyan Premier League (KPL), Nzoia United is looking forward to rubbing shoulders with clubs in the top flight next year.
The team has had a roll in the NSL, losing just one match in the 36 played and at 91 points with two matches remaining and chairman Ngisa Mokua says they will target an even better year in the KPL.
Speaking after the team’s 6-0 mauling of FC Talanta, in a league match on Sunday, Mokua noted that the NSL is much more competitive than the KPL. “We are not worried at all at the prospect of facing giants in the KPL,” he said.
