Receive warm greetings from us women who have been drinking water, milk,
yoghurt and soda when your posts, pictures and other engagements on social
media caught our attention. I must say we are really surprised at how
liberated-as you imagine- you are. You know all the wine by name, taste, quantity
and price. You even take "beer imara kama simba" yet you are not
imara.
The reason for writing
this short letter is to talk to you about one or two things. First, taking
alcohol and selfies then posting it on social media is not cool. It's just
cheap and trying hard to appear sophisticated, classy and outgoing. It doesn't
matter whether you are drinking expensive alcohol, hang out at high end joints
or you are being served in expensive wine glasses. As long as you stagger and
act inappropriately, you are a cheap woman like mitumba clothes in the evening.
Many friends who are not
true friends anyway, will like your picture and tell you nothing. In your
drunken haze, you will imagine your life is admirable. The fact that you can
afford expensive alcohol or that sponsor can sponsor your drinking habits
doesn't mean you are doing well. You are just living 10,000 metres below
poverty line. What you are doing is trying so hard to fit in.
Why you drink alcohol
and brag about it is beyond me. Women should be banned from taking alcohol. Any
woman found drinking should just be thrown out of planet earth. They should all
be sent to planets that do not support human life. We are better off with sober,
thoughtful and reasonable women.
Lastly, I blame you
women who drink and brag for making men imagine that buying cheap alcohol for a
woman is a treat. It's because of you drunkards and pathetic women than men are
taking good girls to noisy cheap joints. You have made men generalise and
imagine that all of us drink. You air heads have really spoilt our good name
before men.
