Accommodation crisis is looming in Bondo town as more than 2,000 students joined Jaramogi Oginga Odinga University of Science and Technology last week.
With slow real estate growth coupled with a growing appetite for housing, there is a shortage of facilities.
As the new students joined, other groups of continuing students will be forced to seek accommodation from houses near the institution. The students have been forced to seek accommodation in private hostels.
