Woes of National Olympic Committe of Kenya continues after sports affiliates and federations met in Nairobi on Saturday and unanimously agreed to suspend Nock’s executive members who they said were involved in the Rio Olympics fiasco.

The affiliates suspended seven executive members among them Kipchoge Keino (Chairman), F.K Paul (Secretary General), James Chacha (Assistant Secretary General), Pius Ochieng (Vice Chairman), Fridah Shiroya (Treasurer), Stephen Soi (Assistant Treasurer) and Anne Njambi Maina (Committee Member).

Federations unanimously agreed to set up an Interim Committee of seven members to look after several issues they said would help improve Nock’s operations.

The interim committee is set to operate from today till December 31,2016 and is chaired by Waithaka Kioni and Andrew Mudibo as its Secretary General.

Others are Elina Shiveka (Kenya Hockey Union), Francis Mutuku (Kenya Lawn Tennis Association), John Kameta (Boxing Association of Kenya), Jackson Tuweii (Athletics Kenya), Shadrack Maluki (Kenya Judo Association) and John Ogola (Kenya Weightlifting Federation).
