The late businessman Jacob Juma.

Nairobi, Kenya: Opposition leaders Raila Odinga, Kalonzo Musyoka, Martha Karua, Moses Wetangula and Musalia  Mudavadi have accused the police of complicity in Jacob Juma’s murder probe.

Miriam Juma, Jacob’s widow said she was shocked that police claim that they are investigating the murder of her husband when even a single police has not visited her to help with investigations a week after Juma’s death.

Juma was shot dead by unknown people while driving past Lenana School.  His car had ten bullet holes when it was found with the engine running.

Police reports say that the businessman was shot seven times in the head. But evidence shows that he was shot at seven times, with bullets hitting him twice in the chest and once in the neck. Three of the bullets may have missed him given that his car was shot at 10 times.
