A university is investigating one of its professors after it was revealed he has starred in porn films.
Nicholas Goddard, 61, is a chemical engineering academic at The University of Manchester who has published dozens of scientific papers over his 25-year career.
But the divorced father-of-three has also been working in a rather different field - adult pornography.
For 10 years he has starred in X-rated films as ‘Old Nick’ - having sex with women in their twenties.
But it’s not a glamorous life according to Mr Goddard who has now decided to quit the film role.
He told The Sun that it was hypocrisy to watch pornographic films and then criticise those who star in them. According to Mr Goddard, 75 per cent of web traffic on the university’s server is porn at evenings and weekends.
‘I don’t get paid much, mainly travel expenses. ‘Sometimes you do things that you regret later while under stress. But I’ve given it up since January, it’s too much for me now. What I do in my private life is my business not the university’s. I haven’t told anyone there.’
He admitted he didn’t know what students or parents would think but wouldn’t care himself if his own children were being taught by a porn star.
In the films, which have been watched by millions, the Oxford-educated professor, often wears just a gold watch in the videos which include the titles ‘Teen Monique F**** Old Nick’ and ‘Busty teen Lolly f**** Old Nick outdoors’. Mr Goddard drives a £35,000 (Sh5.03m) Audi A6 and lives near many of his students in the Manchester area.
He is a lead professor on three university courses and also features in video lectures online.
