Vivian tells about her style

Pulse: When did you become fashion conscious?

Vivian: Well, when I begun music as a career, I felt that grown and sexy would describe be best. That is how I describe by style.

P: You like sporting short hair. Does this affect how you accessorise?

V: Yes it does. Having short hair means I need to accessorise a lot. I love earrings. They are in different ranges and the most expensive cost me Sh20,000.

P: What dictates your look?

V: My music career. My style is inspired by my music mentors.

P: What part do you love dressing up?

V: I take time to dress my hips since I am a pear shaped kind of woman.

P: What is that one thing that can not miss in your handbag or clutch?

V: My phone and lip balm.

P: Have you ever had a bad fashion day?

V: Yes, there was this day I left the house before listening to the weather man. I had light dressing and the rains came down pounding. I froze so much that I had to go to a shop and get myself new clothes.

P: Have you ever had a dress malfunction during a show?

V: There is this day when my blouse button came off exposing a bit too much. There was little I could do so I just acted like that was in the plan.

P: What fashion era rocked it for you?

V: The 80s fashion was just off the hook. It was a happy-people trend…complete with the afros and the mini skirts. A bit of my style is borrowed from back then. I love short skirts with long sleeved tops.

P: Boyfriend boxers or…?

V: Lets just say I dress confortable…

P: What fashion trend do you wish never existed?

V: How do you describe wearing shorts and socks…Like really?
