Nairobi, Kenya: The postmortem on the body of the late Makueni Senator Mutula Kilonzo will be conducted on Tuesday afternoon following the arrival of the family’s pathologist from the United Kingdom.
The family said on Tuesday that the autopsy will be conducted at 2pm at the Lee Funeral Home.
The pathologist from the UK arrived in the country on Tuesday morning on invitation from Mutula’s family.
The family on Monday requested for the postmortem to be pushed to Tuesday to allow the pathologist to take part in the exercise.
The Criminal Investigations Department has launched investigations into Mutula’s death with Director of Public Prosecutions Keriako Tobiko appointing a team of prosecutors to assist the police in the probe.
