At least four Administration Police officers have been killed and several others injured after their truck collided head on with a mini-bus at Kijiwe-Tanga along Mombasa-Malindi highway.
The AP truck was headed for Lamu when it collided with the Mombasa bound bus about six kilometres from Malindi.
36 of the injured have been taken to Malindi District hospital and eight are admitted at Tawfiq Hospital.
Seven in critical condition have been airlifted to Nairobi for specialised treatment.
