Controversy over the purchase of a crystallizer machine that has allegedly compromised production at Nzoia Sugar Company has taken a new turn. The local workers union has joined the fray and dismissed the project as invaluable while board chairman Julius Nyaroso denies that a company associated with him had contracted a tender to import the wrong machine worth 54 million shillings.
