The much publicised beef between rappers Rabbit and Octopizzo might still be alive if events at Blankets and Wine are anything to go by. Octopizzo, who was not scheduled to perform at the event, came late and took to the stage immediately after Rabbit had concluded his show.
“This edition of Blankets was specifically for Taio, Muthoni DQ and Rabbit. Octopizzo clearly knew this but decided to show Rabbit who the king is. It was very awkward,” said a dejected hip-hop fan who has influence in showbiz circles.
Nevertheless, Octopizzo, who came dressed in sports gear, thrilled the fans with his usual engaging performance. Rabbit chose to leave the venue in haste.
