Power Play has learnt that Kenyan athletes were looking like a bunch of villagers among their international competitors from 70 nations when the world beaters landed in Glasgow, Scotland, for the Commonwealth Games recently.

Our mole tells us that they looked so old-fashioned and out of place. We are informed that the track giants were turned out in 1990s fashion, donning Savco jeans, Tokyo jackets, old ‘Kenya uniform’ and jeans as they matched into the athletes’ village in the Scottish capital.

Apparently, they had not been given official kits by the  time they got to Scotland. They, therefore, had to dress casually and our mole says they looked slightly disillusioned as they roamed the streets of Glasgow.
