Singer Wilson Abubakar Radido aka Willy Paul has elicited mixed reactions amongst netizens after he sent a congratulatory message to Mathare MP-elect Antony Oluoch.

In the message posted on Instagram, Willy Paul stated that Oluoch was the man to represent the people of Mathare in parliament.

"I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate two of my good friends. First, congratulations to the one Antony Oluoch for Winning the MATHARE MP SEAT. You are what the people of MATHARE need sir," he said in part.

Revealing that he was born and raised in Mathare, Willy Paul applauded the MP-elect adding that he is glad that Mathare is in safe hands.

"You must have really done a good job sir...retaining that seat is not easy! Keep pushing, MATHARE is my home and I'm glad it's in Safe hands again," he added.

He went on to congratulate media personality Felix Odiwuor alias Jalang'o who was declared the winner of the Lang'ata Parliamentary seat.

"Second, @jalangoo congratulations you are a living legend and you inspire me a lot. Now take the people of Langata to the next level mheshimiwa. Ni hayo tu kwa sasa. God bless Kenya," he stated.

However, a section of his fans took to the comment section to state that the singer was mocking his longtime rival singer Kevin Kioko aka Bahati who finished a distant third in the hotly contested Mathare MP race.
