With less than 24 -hours to New Year, most Kenyans are in the mood to celebrate in style. As we prepare to cross over to a New Year we bring you a number of major events set to take place in Nairobi and other cities across the country.
KICC:
Among the activities lined up are The Recharge courtesy of Groove Awards and Totally Sold Out who are coming together for the first time to hold such an event at KICC grounds. Charges are Sh300, regular and Sh1000 VIP.
MERU:
The 24-hour extravaganza christened Tuvukie takes place at the Meru National Polytechnic and will host a number of local and international acts. Tickets go for Sh500 and VIP Sh1000 and are available at Tuskys Meru branch.

ELDORET:
Gospel artistes Emmy Kosgei and Mercy Masika perform at Eldoret Sports Club today. The Pamoja Concert, sponsored by Standard Group, will also feature Guardian angel, Christina Shusho, Vicky Gitonga, Ba Mdogo, comedians Erick Omondi and YY.
NYANZA:
Ohanglas latest sensation Musa Jakadalla will be at Cheers Club Bondo. Meanwhile, Rumba musician Johny Junior and his BV band will entertain revelers at Kisumu Vimba 68. Eng. Onyi Jalamo will perform at Green Cottage Club Nyadorera. Emma Jalamo will be at Tourist Resort on New Year.

Kenya’s dancing machine Kanda King will lead his African Rhythm band in thrilling revelers at Park Side Villa Kitui.
MOMBASA- DIANI:
Tanzanian songstress Venessa Mdee will entertain revelers with Mimi Mars, Jack Roostrer, N Kai Imran Mwangi, Mkuzi deejay Vani and others.
THIKA:
A number of renowned gospel artists will gather at Thika Stadium courtesy of EMB. They include Rufftone, Ben Githae, Mr Seed, Slejj, Bahati, David Wonder, Pitson, Hopekid and Size 8
KILIFI:
Party dubbed bush beats, booty and bass begins today all the way to January 2, at Kilifi Plantations. There will be performances by renowned musicians among them Nazizi, Da Capo, Adam Free, Miyagi, Klmn, Kelisa Seth, Schwarrz Longfingah, Makadem, Sir Henry, among others. Advance tickets available for Sh 6,600 and Sh8000 at the gate
