The wife to President Uhuru Kenyatta’s son Jomo Kenyatta, Fiona Achola has delivered a bouncing baby girl.
The good news comes just a day before new grandfather Uhuru Kenyatta’s swearing in ceremony as president of Kenya.
The baby girl has been named Wanjiru, taking Margaret Kenyatta’s middle name. Fiona delivered the baby girl at Nairobi's Aga Khan Hospital.
A pregnant Fiona was recently spotted at Marula Manor alongside Jomo and First Lady Margaret Kenyatta.
Fiona, who is the granddaughter of the late Luo political giant, William Odongo Omamo, formalised her union to Jomo last year after holding a traditional wedding ceremony.

The ceremony, which covered all cultural aspects of a Kikuyu wedding, was an introduction of Fiona and her family to the Kenyatta family.
A joyful Fiona was ushered into the President's Gatundu home by elderly women as she walked hand-in-hand with her fiance Jomo. They both wore African prints, with Fiona topping her beautiful dress with a traditional dress, head gear and necklace.
