Another Rongai matatu is making headlines for the wrong reasons again after a sad incident which could have been avoided took place yesterday morning.
Grace Wangui, the Machachari actress took to social media to shed light on the terrible action of the matatu crew who pushed her 18 year old son out of the moving vehicle causing him injuries.
‘’Dear Florida Rongai matatu driver and tout.
I have chosen to forgive you for the cruel act upon my son yesterday morning around 9:00 am, where the tout angrily pushed him out of the moving mat, thus falling and injuring his hand and body from the impact of the fall; after he insisted that he be dropped at his rightful stage (sironik road) which you didn't take heed and the driver sped off instead after the deed, amidst public outcry.’’ She posted.
It is not the first time matatus plying that route have been reported for reckless behaviour even leading to the loss of life.
While few may know this, Grace Wangui happens to be Machachari actress Mama Baha’s twin sister.
Let us hope the necessary authority will take action against the Florida matatu crew who played a hand in this very unfortunate incident.
