Sassy Kenyan singer Avril has landed on a lucrative commercial deal mobile phone brand Itel. The artiste has been snapped up as the country’s brand ambassador for the Chinese phone maker. The two parties entered into an agreement when they signed a year-long contract in Nairobi on Wednesday.
Through the contract, Avril becomes the brand’s main image and she will be expected to attend Itel mobile-sponsored events including campus gigs, CSR activities and heighten the brand’s presence in the market through avenues such as social media.
“I am extremely delighted to partner with Itel on their new chapter in Kenya. I have always enjoyed being in any partnership that positively influences young people, and not just me. I am looking forward to this great partnership,” she said.
