Anita, the youngest female events organiser in Mombasa who is credited for creating the annual Pwani Celebs Awards has landed a major breakthrough. She will be co-hosting the Mseto East Africa TV show with popular showbiz guru Willy M Tuva.
This is one of the biggest breakthroughs a Mombasa-based entertainment practitioner has ever landed, a lucrative and enviable deal that puts her ahead of her events management business that had received resistance from veteran Coast events organisers – whose comfort zone she had totally invaded.
After receiving the news over the weekend, Mombasa-based celebrities hosted a party for her on Saturday night to celebrate the new feat. However, most of her detractors among them two popular female events organisers gave the party a big miss.
