It was an ostentatious showbiz phenomenal as the Pulse Magazine hosted thousands of fans at the Crayfish Camp, Naivasha for the much-awaited Pulse Pool Party with top celebrities thrills on show
“I love Shaffie. Marry me. Please marry me,” a sassy dressed girl cried out before breaking through a team of bouncers and romping to the stage where Shaffie was charging the masses before the show started.
Nothing could stop her. She tore her top like an obsessed lover and started gyrating her precious parts around a now chill shocked Shaffie. The crowd cheered on.
In another minute, another girl hit the podium shouting Real Solo’s name.
“I want Solo…Where is Solo,” she whined. And as DJ Joe Mfalme turned on the heat on the turntables, scores dived into the pool for a swimming dance as the scene turned into a wild party — the much awaited Pulse Pool Party at Crayfish Camp, Naivasha!
The last time Pulse was at the Crayfish Camp, Naivasha for a major event was five years ago. It was the ever memorable Bikini Car Wash show, now coming back to you next month at the same venue due to public demand.
And to kick off this great extravaganza, last weekend, Pulse was back on the road to Naivasha.
With top celebrities among them bad boy of showbiz Shaffie Weru, hilarious emcee and radio host Jalang’o, The Real Solo, Kelma, DJs Joe Mfalme, Hypnotic and Wiz on stage, it was a night of thrill as music, comedy and fashion came to show around the massive pool.
Defying the dull and wet weather that had dominated the venue all Saturday afternoon, Pulsers drove in in their numbers as the deejays created the right atmosphere with hyped music mixes renting the air.
Right at the entrance a spectacular team of flashy dressed Pulse models ushered in the guests. The lake side camping site had been turned into a village with every little space having been taken, rooms having been fully booked earlier in the week.
“How many of you love the Pulse cover girls,” Shaffie posed as Jalang’o teased the now frenzy crowd to say what they liked about the models.
At the time, DJ Hypnotic was doing a special mix for the Pulse team and the cover girls who rocked the stage dancing to P Unit’s You Guy song. This was the order of the night. With short interludes, the emcees could invite a fan to the stage and challenge them to say what they liked about the magazine. With the right answer, they would win goodies. There were also swimming and pool table competition going on until the wee hours.
“We should have more of such events. This was a good treat,” Brian Weke, who had attended the event told Pulse.
“I could not have been at a better place. This is it,” singer Kelma told Pulse.
Powered by Main Switch sound, the party returns to the venue in two weeks’ time as celebrities and fans showcase their cool rides during the Pulse Bikini Carwash party.
