Imagine hopping into a mathree and the first thing that welcomes you is theatrical fog.

You know the one that is used in rock concerts, theatre halls or nightclubs? That is what a mathree from Umoja is now welcoming its commuters with.

They have installed a theatrical fog machine inside a mat.

The mathree, which goes by the name of Gamer, is registered to the City Tram Sacco and is no doubt a game changer.

The machine emits a dense vapour that appears similar to fog or smoke and I found that very interesting when I boarded this mathree along Ronald Ngala Street.

When the laser lights were turned on, the interior became sexier with all colours competing for attention.

The interesting special effects have made Gamer the talk of town.

Shadrack Mogori, one of the crew, told Ma3 Culture that, “Initially, people thought the smoke was harmful, which is not the case. The passengers are now fighting for seat.”

Gamer has a 40-inch screen at the front and plays latest hip-hop videos.

It has four other screens at the back, three woofers and sixteen mid-range speakers.
