Staff and tourism students from Technical University of Kenya (TU-K) are a lucky lot. In a memo published on the university’s website, the institution is set to sign a deal with Hilton intended to promote skills development amongst students and staff in the School of Hospitality and Tourism Studies.

The Global Head of Hilton Brand Mr Rob Palleschi, who met TU-K Vice-Chancellor Prof Francis Aduol and said: “We work with 25 institutions globally among them TU-K. The university has been working with the hotel for the last two years.”

Prof Aduol thanked Mr Palleschi and his team, noting that their presence was a great honour and adding that the university was happy to work with the hotel.
