Babu Owino trolled after asking government institutions to employ Embakasi residents

Embakasi East Member of Parliament Babu Owino on Friday 10 October asked all the companies and government institutions in Embakasi to employ the residents.

“I would like to urge all the companies & government institutions in Embakasi East to employ the residents,” Babu Owino posted on his facebook page.

On 9 November, the Embakasi East MP said that he had been contacted by Co-operative Bank, Commercial Bank of Africa (CBA), Kenya Commercial Bank (KCB) and Equity Bank and agreed to employ the Embakasi East residents.

“The following banks contacted me today and have agreed to employ residents of Embakasi east. Coop bank, CBA, KCB and Equity bank. Embakasi east residents love you. Need cvs,” he posted.

However, most people did not take this kindly especially after he supported National Super Alliance (NASA) leader Raila Odinga to boycott all products linked to the government.
