Top Kenyan entertainers Camp Mulla, Jaguar, Jimmy Gait, Size 8 and Sauti Sol will kick off the Safaricom countrywide concerts as the new season starts next month.
The communications provider has partnered with the local stars to launch the second phase of the country's leading music property dubbed Niko na Safaricom Live concerts.
Also in the team is sensational comedian Jalango.
The five month long campaign aims to connect with the youth through live concerts, campus storms, activations and roadshows. Niko na Safaricom Live is a successor of the Safaricom Kenya Live Initiative launched last year.
It will focus on growing and nurturing local music talent by giving artistes and key talent.

Signed talent will also have the opportunity to increase their revenue through mobile downloads of their content such as ringtones, songs and much more.
Speaking during the launch of the Niko na Safaricom Live Campaign, Safaricom CEO Bob Collymore said; “As a Kenyan brand, Safaricom is committed to growing local talent and positively impacting the lives of Kenyans. I am therefore confident that this campaign will not only deliver world class entertainment, but it will also create an emotional connection with the millions of youth and Kenyans across the country.”
Niko na Safaricom Live takes place between August and December and the campaign climax will be six made-for-TV concerts that will kick off in Meru then move on to Kisumu, Mombasa, Eldoret, Nakuru and culminate in the grand finale in Nairobi.
In addition, Safaricom will be looking at incorporating last year's Safaricom Kenya Live artistes who include Redsan, Wahu, Jua Cali, Wyre, Nameless, Juliani, Ken wa Maria, Osogo Winyo, Ally B, Phonotex Success Band, MOG, Eko Dydda, Allan Aaron, DJ John and Mike Rua as special guest artistes.
