Jose Mourinho wants to sign Atletico Madrid midfielder Saul Niguez, according to reports.
The Independent claim Manchester United are considering meeting the Spaniard’s £54million release clause to take him to Old Trafford.
Niguez only recently renewed his Atletico contract but United are capable of offering him better wages.
The 21-year-old is expected to start in the centre of Atletico’s midfield in the Champions League final against Real Madrid on Saturday.
