Amani National Congress (ANC) has said it fully supports the ongoing talks on electoral reforms.
While submitting a memorandum to the joint parliamentary select committee on Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission, ANC said the removal of IEBC commissioners through constitutional means is time consuming and expensive.
"The party, therefore, suggested that a negotiated political settlement within the framework of the Constitution be pursued," the memorandum partly read.
ANC insisted the electoral agency was not fit to oversee the 2017 election after allegedly failing to hold credible polls in 2013.
The committee, which is co-chaired by senators Kiraitu Murungi (Meru) and James Orengo (Siaya) has summoned IEBC commissioners to appear before it on Monday morning to present their views.

This comes in the wake of new revelation that four commissioners; Abdullahi Sharawe, Yusuf Nzibo, Kule Galma Godana and Albert Bwire have written resignation letters to President Uhuru Kenyatta but only if they will be paid their dues.
"They should take collective responsibility for the incompetence and a lack of integrity as manifested in the procurement scandals," ANC added.
