Once upon a time there was a naughty boy who never obeyed his parents. His name was Jeuri. Whenever he was asked to do something, he refused and did what he felt like doing. He even went to school whenever he wanted. His parents were old and could not control him well.

He used to steal small things from classmates and neighbours. He stole pens, pencils and books and even chickens and money from his parents.

When he was a grown up he continued stealing. But one day, he faced the music. He had gone to the market to loiter, as he usually did. As he was walking, he saw an old woman put her purse down.

‘’This is my golden chance,’’ he said to himself. Jeuri moved next to the woman and snatched her purse and ran as fast as a deer.

The woman started looking for her purse after noticing that it was missing. Luckily, she saw Jeuri running fast, holding her purse. She screamed and shouted for help. She asked some men to run after him and a large crowd started chasing him.

Jeuri got tired and the mob caught up with him and beat him up. Were it not for the police, he would have been killed by the irate mob. He suffered major injuries, some of them permanent. His head was left shapeless and his right arm was later amputated.

As he serves a prison term, Jeuri regrets why he never obeyed his elders and parents. Obey your parents. Don’t say they are old and do not know what they are saying. They are much wiser than you are.
