A man accused of killing and secretly burying his wife in a tea plantation has been charged.
Hillary Okemwa allegedly killed Zipporah Kwamboka before calling his in-laws on Friday night and informing them that she had gone missing.
The in-laws travelled the following morning and on carrying out a search, discovered a shallow grave in the family's tea plantation.
Neighbours said the two had been having problems since their house was brought down.

He appeared at Keroka Law Courts and was remanded until February 20 next year. Keroka police boss Peter Wambugu confirmed the incident.
