The declaration of Sh276.76million wealth by Safaricom CEO Bob Collymore caused social media frenzy on Wednesday with his name 'Bob Collymore' becoming a trend on Twitter.

Kenyans on Twitter also challenged each other and leaders to declare their wealth status using the trending hashtag #DeclareYourWealth

Bob said he declared his wealth to increase transparency in the public and private sectors as part of efforts to fight graft in the East African nation.
