Celebrated media personality Leonard Mambo Mbotela is dead.

The broadcaster had been ailing and is reported to have passed on some minutes after 9.30 am, February 7.

Anne Mbotela, his daughter-in-law confirmed to the press about the veteran broadcaster's death.
