For a third time the outspoken and self-declared National Resistance Movement (NRM) General, Miguna Miguna will attempt to set foot to his country of birth after he was deported to Canada in March by the Jubilee government under unclear circumstances.
The exiled politician made it public news after making the announcement of his attempted return to the country via his twitter account on Thursday.
Following his participation in the swearing in of ODM leader Raila Odinga as the ‘People’s President’ on January 30th at Uhuru Park, it would mark the beginning of his woes.
Despite several court orders in his favor, the controversial lawyer was frog matched out of the country on March 29th after spending close to 72 hours in a toilet at JKIA.
Miguna claimed that he was tortured, sedated and forced to leave the country against his will.
Despite his insistence on being a Kenyan citizen, the government has repeatedly refused to issue him with a valid passport claiming that he relinquished his citizenship in 1987 when he sought asylum in Canada.
