Michael Jace, an actor in hit TV series The Shield, has been charged with the murder of his wife on Monday 19th May.
The police found April Jace shot dead at her home in Los Angeles. It is alleged that the actor shot her multiple times and called paramedics informing them of what he had done.
Their 2 children were in the house at the time of the shooting and it is reported they witnessed the incident.
April was the actor’s second wife. The couple had been married 11 years.
This however is not the first time the actor had displayed his rage. Daily Mail reports that he is accused of choking his first wife and slamming her against the wall while his baby son screamed in the crib.
In divorce papers from his first marriage, it is alleged that Michael had an explosive temper and had hit his wife multiple times.
He is currently in custody while investigations continue. The kids have been handed over to relatives.
