The Kenya National Examinations Council (Knec) says a probe is still under way to determine the cause of the rising cases of exam leaks.
Speaking at Mitihani House Wednesday, Knec Chief Executive Officer Joseph Kivilu insisted that despite the cheating cases, the released results were still valid and reliable.
About 150 persons, among them teachers, police and parents, have been charged over exam irregularities.
Kivilu described the menace as 'the worst nightmare', adding that the board was working to reduce the cases that have tainted Knec's image.
He said the council is not only re-examining the values and attitudes, but also the processes, technology and administrative arrangements.

"We anticipate reforms as we plan 2016 examinations and as we implement our new strategic plan," he said.
Matiang'i directed Knec to take responsibility over irregularities instead of shifting blame.
"Examinations and tests are not only out to measure the capacities of pupils but also the bodies that administer the tests," he said.
