Those present included Governor Sonko, his Kiambu Counterpart Ferdinand Waititu, National Assembly Majority Leader Aden Duale and Senate Majority leader Kipchumba Murkomen and good number of Cabinet secretaries and their principal secretaries.
Some members of the public wore red to show their support for Jubilee Party while the Jubilee Brigade donned on their army like regalia.

Leaders across the country all joined in at their respective areas of service. Former Senator Hassan Omar, Embu Governor Martin Wambora, Likoni MP Rashid Suleiman Shakombo, Nyandarua Governor Francis Kimemia, Coast Region chairman Mohamed Ibrahim, Murang'a County Governor Mwangi wa Iria, CIPK Treasurer Sheikh Hasan Omar, Embu County Commissioner Esther Maina and Kenya Defence Forces Gen. Samson Mwathethe all graced the day from different parts of the country.
