History was made last weekend as two National Super League (NSL) games went live for the first time ever on Free to Air channel Bamba Sports.
The first game to go on air was a MOSCA – St. Joseph’s game at the Camp Toyoyo, a game the visitors comfortably won 4-1 with goals from Salim Akatha (12), Wilson Andati (20, 38) and a penalty from Dominic Gwaro (45). Elisha Ochieno (57) scored for MOSCA.The second live game from the same venue that kicked off at 4.15 pm had Wazito register a second straight season win over relegated Nairobi City Stars witha 3-1.

FOOTBALL: Gor Mahia to play first home game in Kisumu
Gor Mahia will play their first home match at Moi Stadium Kisumu this weekend. The former Kenyan Premier League (KPL) champions will take on promoted side Zoo Kericho on Sunday.
According to the club’s official website, the match will kick off at 2pm.

FOOTBALL: Kimanzi praises his youthful side
Mathare United coach Francis Kimanzi has praised his youthful side for stopping Thika United in an away match last weekend. Speaking to the KPL official website, the coach said the team showed a lot of maturity, convincing him of their potential. “When we finished the recruitment process I kept thinking that ours is a squad of very young players out to learn the ropes on the rigors of this league. They have showed maturity, and I can see a lot of potential in them," said Kimanzi.
