Women leaders from Western region have defended Devolution Cabinet Secretary Anne Waiguru against allegations of fraud at National Youth Service (NYS).
Teso South MP Mary Emaase and Reginalda Wanyonyi (Bungoma County) said the CS was being victimised and yet she was the whistleblower of graft at NYS.
"If we crucify Waiguru for reporting on graft, then we are definitely losing war on graft. Kenyans must stop politicising issues by targeting political opponents," said Ms Emasse.
"If Waiguru is found to have misappropriated any money, let the courts decide," said Wanyonyi.
