Man killed in fight over a woman at a bar

Embu, Kenya: A fight over a woman by four men at Kathangariri market, Embu North sub-county, ended tragically after a man lost his life in the ensuing scuffle.

Martin Munene Muriithi, 32, was found dead at the back of a shop in the market Monday morning after he disappeared on Sunday night following a fight with the three men.

Area OCPD James Kasimba said the deceased was in a bar in the market in the company of the woman when a man in the company of the three picked a fight with him.

The police chief said they had already arrested the three men who were assisting them with investigations.
