The popular Noons Club,  domiciled within the Nyali Sun Africa Nyali Beach Hotel and Spa is back to life.

The management confirmed that one of the oldest clubs is cashing into the lucrative tourism business especially with peak season gaining momentum.

'' We are keen to give back the real nightlife entertainment and hope by doing so shall also be targeting increase in higher room rates,'' said Nyali Sun Africa  Beach Hotel and Spa General Manager Sanjeev Kumar.

He added that Mombasa is packed with a vibrant middle-class population that includes youth and the always young at heart who want to have free time to enjoy and relax after a long day's work.

'' We need not mourn anymore. Disco era is never dead. At Noons we have lined up several theme nights for revelers that are now proving a hit to many revelers who are trickling back for that deserving time out,'' Kumar said.

Kumar said that Wednesdays for them at the Noons Club that is fitted will all safety gadgets to ensure revelers comfort and safety are Bhangara & Asian nights while Thursdays are common nights for all ages with Friday nights being purely soul nights and Saturday for all ages and all tastes.

'' We are staging a powerful revival and with the re-introduction of Noons Club,we not only offer employment to a handful of youth but add to the spicy mix of what Nyali Sun Africa Beach Hotel and Spa has to offer ,'' Kumar added.

He said that they have bottle service at the very minimum and offer an array of drinks both local and international brands with mouthwatering snacks from the chef's kitchen on order.

The Kenya Association of Hotelkeepers and Caterers (KAHC) Coast branch Chief Executive D .Sam Ikwaye commended Nyali Sun Sun Africa Beach Hotel and Spa for bringing back to life Noons Club in time for the long December holidays.

“The rest of the hotel industry that always used not to care about nightlife entertainment has finally woken up to the idea that not only is design and a distinctive product good business but having various forms of entertainment is good business. We hope many others will follow suit and reinvigorate the once vibrant Mombasa nightlife,'' Ikwaye said.

He added that the move by Nyali Sun Africa Beach Hotel and Spa to bring back to life its popular Noons Club is  a bold move at a time when there is the h air of optimism in the tourism and entertainment industry.
