Mobile phone operator Zain is backing the price war that it ignited last week when it drastically cut its tariffs with a nationwide marketing campaign and is not ruling out further price reductions in reaction to anticipated competitor moves. The firm flagged off promotion buses for a countrywide roadshow, in what it terms a relentless effort to capture a bigger share of the market from competition.
