A Seven-year-old boy has been stabbed to death by unknown assailants in Matungu, Kakamega County.
The Standard One Bulimbo Star Academy pupil was on Sunday night attacked at their home and stabbed several times in the abdomen.
Police are investigating the incident which occurred just days after Kakamega Senator Cleophas Malala, Matungu MP Justus Murunga, Mayoni MCA Libinus Oduor and former Sports CS Rashid Echesa, were arrested following the Matungu killings.
The four were released yesterday night after spending the weekend in police custody.

They are expected to present themselves before police today.
The infamous Matungu killings left 20 people dead within two months and 50 others with severe injuries.
The most affected areas are Mayoni, Lubanga, Mung’ungu, Munami, Ejinja, Ogalo, Lung’anyiro, Harambe, Sayangwe and Koyonzo.
