Arsenal have hijacked Manchester United's deal to sign Ilkay Gundogan, according to the Metro.
The Gunners are reportedly in talks with Gundogan's family over a potential switch to north London.
United were favourites to sign the German international after it emerged last month that a £21.5m deal to take him to Old Trafford was close.
However, with a deal yet to be announced, Arsenal have swooped in and hope to nab the 24-year-old from under Louis van Gaal's nose.
