Man caught having sex with dog

A man who was reportedly having sex with a pit bull in a Detroit alley Tuesday had unintended company: Students walking by filmed him in the act on their cell phones and showed the footage to officials at Denby High School, ABC affiliate WXYZ reports.

Their action led to police nabbing the still-naked man, who was then evaluated at St. John Hospital, according to the station. The dog was also taken away.

The Huffington Post reached out to the Detroit Police Department, which said it was checking on any updates.

The bizarre story emerged in the wake of a report in which a Chicago man was accused of having sex with a pit bull in an animal shelter.

In April, a Muskegon, Mich., man was sentenced to prison after pleading no contest to charges of committing bestiality with two dogs.
