Some 1,500 prisons service officers graduated from the Kenyatta University on Friday.
They were part of the 5,600 graduands who were conferred with various degrees and diploma certificates during KU’s 41st graduation ceremony presided over by the University Chancellor Dr Benson Wairegi.
The officers included 97 cadet students who completed 15 months of training in PG diploma in security and correction science.
Another 1,400 completed diploma or certificates after nine months of training.
