The County Assembly has passed a Sh6.7 billion supplementary budget to support county expenditure for the next three months.
The passing of the budget had delayed since last year, due to wrangles between MCAs and the Executive.
Deputy Speaker Steve Munene, while presenting the budget, said the Liaison Committee had prepared a balanced plan to cater for key development sectors.
The health sector received Sh67 million for purchasing drugs while Sh87 million was set aside to cater for the nurses’ Collective Bargaining Agreement.
