GARISSA COUNTY: More than 500 small scale milk traders in Garissa town have benefited from milk sheds worth Sh870,000.
The sheds, officially handed over to traders yesterday, were built through a partnership between the County Government of Garissa and the International Organisation for Migration (IOM).

"With the commissioning of this milk shed, we hope to be able to provide quality facilities to our people to earn a living and at the same time make it easy for the county to collect revenue," Abdullahi said.
He said for efficient service delivery to devolved units, the county administration – through urban planning department, will recruit more enforcement officers to ensure county by-laws are adhered to.
